With so many fun July National Holidays – there are so many reasons to celebrate this month!
These July National Holidays are all about celebrating with your family & friends. The weather in July is perfect for hosting some fun BBQ’s in celebration of these little known holidays.
Compliment Your Mirror Day (July 3rd): This really is something we should do every day – compliment the person you see looking back at you in the mirror! A fun idea for kids is to use washable markers designed for the mirror or shower and have them write compliments all over the mirror. Makes for a great picture!
International Kissing Day (July 6th): Leave a treat bag for your kids including hot lips and chocolate kisses.
Father-Daughter Take a Walk Together Day (July 7th): This is a great idea for some daddy-daughter bonding time! You could also print this fun free scavenger hunt to play while out for your walk.
Hop a Park Day (July 7th): See how many fun parks you can visit and explore today. You can even bring along a notebook and rate them so you know which parks you’ll want to go back to again.
International Cherry Pit Spitting Day (July 7th): Create a fun game in the backyard to see who can spit a cherry pit the furthest.
Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day (July 10th): Here are some fun ideas for a teddy bear picnic including a free printable certificate, food and activity ideas. What would a July National Holidays list be without a good picnic celebration, right?!
Be a Dork Day (July 15th): Celebrate that goofy dork side that you know we all have!
Gummi Worm Day (July 15th): Have your kids help to make cupcakes iced in chocolate frosting, covered in crushed chocolate cookie, and place gummi worms in “the dirt” on top of the cupcake. Fun to create and fun to eat!
National Ice Cream Day (July 15th): This July National Holidays list wouldn’t be complete without an ice cream party! Celebrate National Ice Cream Day by having a make-your-own-sundae party with lots of ice cream and various candy & fruit toppings!National Lollipop Day (July 20th): Visit your local candy store and try to find the largest lollipop!
National Hot Dog Day (July 21st, always the 3rd Saturday in July): Host a fun family BBQ with hot dogs and tons of fixings like chili, cheese, condiments, etc.
Parents Day (July 22nd): Go out for dinner with your spouse tonight to celebrate!
Gorgeous Grandma Day (July 23rd): Celebrate grandmas today and let them know what makes them beautiful on the inside and out!
Cousins Day (July 24th): This is a great reason to gather the family together for a fun BBQ at a local park.
