September 7th (always the first Friday in September) – National Lazy Mom’s Day: What a great day to gather your best mommy friends for a pajama party! Invite your best girlfriends over to enjoy takeout food, drinks and movies while lounging in pajamas. Like your childhood slumber parties only this time you can mix in some delicious margaritas!
September 13th – International Chocolate Day: What could be better than some great company paired with delicious chocolate?! You could all meet up at a local dessert shop to share many different types of chocolate desserts.
September 25th – National One-Hit Wonder Day: When you think of one-hit wonders, what songs come to mind? Perhaps some Right Said Fred or Sir-Mix-a-Lot? Create a fun mix of one-hit wonder songs and invite your best girlfriends over for drinks and snacks – try to see how many songs you can sing along to!
September 26th (last Wednesday in September) – National Women’s Health & Fitness Day: This would be a great day to try out a new group fitness class. You could choose something fun like burlesque dancing fitness or a Latin dance class.
September 27th – World Tourism Day: This would be a fun day to plan an around the world dinner party – here are some fun ideas!
September 29th – National Coffee Day: Meet some of your best mommy friends at a local coffee shop for some time to catch up on news. Another idea is to invite your best girlfriends over for coffee and desserts made with coffee. There are many to choose from!
