This is one of those bread recipes with fruit that looks like you spent all day making it but it’s actually incredibly easy to make!

Impress your guests with this fancy treat that is quick & easy to make.
Ingredients
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ⅓ cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Grated lemon peel strips
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease bottom only of 9x5-inch glass loaf dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. In medium bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar with wire whisk.
  5. Stir milk, butter, 2 tsp lemon peel and raspberries into egg mixture.
  6. Fold wet mixture into dry mixture just until moistened.
  7. Pour into prepared dish.
  8. Bake 1 hour or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes and them remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely for 2 hours.
  10. In a small bowl, stir powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth and thin.
  11. Drizzle glaze over bread and garnish with lemon peel strips.

This Apple Bread recipe can be made into mini loaves for the perfect snack in your child’s lunch kit.

Instead of a full size loaf pan, this recipe can be made into mini loaves as a perfect lunch time snack.
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup finely shredded peeled apple
  • ¼ cup apple sauce (unsweetened)
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ tsp lemon zest
  • 1 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease bottom only of a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine first seven ingredients.
  4. In a second bowl, mix together apple, apple sauce, eggs and lemon zest.
  5. Add mixture to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
  6. Gently stir in nuts (optional).
  7. Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Cool 10 minutes before loosening sides and letting cool on rack.
  9. Cool completely (2 hours) before slicing.

This delicious bread only takes 15 minutes to prepare. It freezes well so it’s a great treat to keep on hand for special guests.

This bread is quick & easy to make (only takes 15 minutes to prepare) and it freezes well.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Bisquick Mix
  • ¾ cup quick-cooking oats
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2 medium)
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed and drained) blueberries
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease bottom of a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Stir Bisquick, oats, sugar, bananas, milk and eggs in a large bowl until moistened.
  4. Beat on high speed for 30 seconds.
  5. Gently stir in blueberries.
  6. Pour into prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool 10 minutes before loosening sides and cooling directly on rack.
  9. Cool completely (about 2 hours) before slicing.
