Here’s a moms night out event that your husband will wish he could tag along to – Moms Sports Night Out! This fun moms night out idea is all about sports – see…told you your husband would love it!

Football Tailgate Party

You can start (or end…or maybe start AND end) your night off at a local pub enjoying drinks and appetizers. You’ll need those chicken wings & nachos for energy! You could also host a pre-party at home with appetizers like this delicious hot spinach & artichoke dip or this party favorite turkey taco dip. Be sure not to load up on too many appetizers though or you’ll be too full to play!

Want to learn a little more about the sport before you head out to play? Here’s a site full of rules & regulations.

Perhaps there is a local sports coach that could meet your group and teach you a little more about a sport like football or golfing. Then you can surprise your husband with all your new knowledge next time he’s watching the game on tv! Some football teams offer a ladies night where women are invited to attend to learn more about the game and to do a little football practice.

Don’t forget to wear comfy shoes, exercise gear and bring some water to Moms Sports Night Out. You may want to bring along a change of clothes as well if you’re planning on heading out for appetizers at the end of the night.

For added fun, you could award prizes for best scores, best effort, worst scores and even best outfit! Perhaps you even want to be a little silly and dress in an 80’s workout theme. Think headbands, legwarmers and big hair! Be sure to bring your cameras!

What’s your favorite sport?
