Today on Party Tip Tuesday we’re featuring Elizabeth of Lemonberry Moon and I know you’re going to love what she has to share! I came across her shop a few weeks ago and I knew that I had to introduce her to you because she has such brilliant ideas. Not only are the party packages she has unique & creative but they are affordable too! She sells a really unique product so I’m going to pass it over to her now so she can tell you all about it.
1) What is Lemonberry Moon?
Lemonberry Moon is a Photography and Party Planning Boutique. I offer portrait and event photography as well as event planning services and my pride and joy – my party plans!
2) What makes your party packages different from many of the other suppliers?
I’ve always loved to plan parties and read all the blogs and books on the big party planning sites. Everything was so gorgeous, but I thought for sure “I can’t afford that!” I want to show people that you can throw these beautiful parties on a budget and I can show you how. I include tutorials and recipes as well as shopping lists, where to buy and even checklists to keep you on track throughout the entire planning process. I offer printable party labels courtesy of www.foreveryourprints.com as an option on most of my party plans. Everything you need is right there in a pretty little ebook!
3) Teens can be a difficult age group to plan parties for. What are some of your favorite ideas for birthday party themes for tweens & teens?
Teens can be difficult, but they LOVE these themed parties, especially the girls. Some of my favorite themes for them are Rock and Roll, Glow in the Dark, Spa, Movie Night and of course a “sweet” 16 candy themed party.
4) What has been one of your favorite parties to style? Why do you think it stands out as a favorite?
I have new favorites all the time, I just love what I do! I’m not sure I can pick just one, how about three? The Art, Mad Scientist and Camping themed parties are my favorites so far. They all had such fun (and messy) activities so the kids had a blast! Being at a location where it’s okay to get messy and warning parents to dress their kids for mess then letting them go wherever their creativity takes them is the key to a really fun party.
5) With Halloween quickly approaching, what is one of your favorite ideas for Halloween party food?
Having three boys we are all about the creepy crawly Halloween food here! My most popular creepy treat is definitely the jell-o worms that are featured in my bug party plan. There are plenty of other great treats for Halloween in that plan too!
