Foodie Adventures Around Kissimmee

If you ask me what my perfect vacation looks like, “delicious food” is one of the first things you’ll hear me say. When on vacation, I’m always in search of the best piece of cheesecake, a bakery filled with irresistible cupcakes, and small family-owned restaurants that the locals love. On a recent trip to Kissimmee I had an opportunity to try so much delicious food and there were so many more places I’ve made a note of to try next time! If you love good food (don’t we all?!) then you are going to love these Kissimmee foodie adventures & some tasty hidden treasures too!

Breck’s Gourmet Cookies:

I was told about Breck’s Gourmet Cookies from someone I was traveling with and I’m so glad she told us about it! Seriously…best cookies ever! Plan on taking some to-go too because I can guarantee you’ll find more than one flavor you’ll want to try!

Chocolate Kingdom:

At the Chocolate Kingdom you can go on a chocolate factory tour! It’s a dream come true for a chocoholic like me! See how chocolate is made, do a little taste-testing along the way and bring some home for a midnight snack. Going on a girlfriend’s getaway? Check out their Wine & Chocolate Pairing Experience!

Gator Bites in Wild Florida:

Looking to take a walk on the wild side? At the Chomp House Grill in Wild Florida, you can taste gator, turtle, catfish, frog legs and much more! For the not-so-adventurous, they also have classics like hot dogs, burgers, ice cream and more! While there, you’re going to want to book an airboat adventure. You can read all about my airboat & wildlife adventure here.

Reunion Resort:

There are so many delicious dining options at Reunion Resort. We had a few meals there and I was impressed with everything! From the spectacular view from Eleven’s rooftop patio (go in the evening to see the sunset & fireworks!) to the White Chocolate Cranberry Bread Pudding at their holiday tasting party, this is a resort that I’d highly recommend.

Savion’s Place:

Does Savion’s Place sound familiar? In 2014, Savion’s Place was featured on the Cooking Channel’s Emeril’s Florida! The menu is loaded with delicious options for all tastes! All of the food is created on site daily and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with anything on the menu. I ordered the meatloaf, not something I’d normally order for lunch, but it came highly recommended and I could taste why! It’s a smaller restaurant so I’d recommend reservations to avoid disappointment.

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival:

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is an annual event held in Walt Disney World in Florida. Basically Epcot is transformed into a foodie’s paradise with dozens of marketplaces with sampler-sized food to try from around the world. Whether you are an aspiring chef, a professional chef, or just someone who appreciates the art of food, you’ll want to visit the World Food Championships.
