Easter Food For Kids - Quesadilla

Easter Food For Kids – Quesadilla:

To start with, simply place two tortillas on top of each other and cut out an egg shape.

Next you’ll need to prepare your fillings. Here are some delicious ideas:

  • leftover ham from Easter dinner with chopped veggies and lots of shredded cheese
  • pepperoni, tomato sauce and lots of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • chicken, corn, black beans and salsa with sour cream on the side for dipping
  • caramel ice cream topping and apple pie filling (as a dessert quesadilla)

Place one of the egg-shaped tortillas in a frying pan (stove set to medium-low) sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Spread your toppings over the tortilla evenly and top with the second egg-shaped tortilla.

Let it cook for a few minutes before flipping it over to cook on the other side.

Once the cheesy filling has started to melt and both sides are lightly brown, remove from the pan and place on a plate.

You can serve it with cheese slices cut into Easter shapes like flowers, sun, shredded lettuce for grass, bunny shapes, etc. I use a cookie cutter for the cute shapes.

You can then give your kids some toppings to decorate their egg with like sour cream, salsa, sliced cheese, sliced veggies, etc.
