Dog Cake Pops – Directions:

First, melt your chocolate. You’ll want a few different colors to choose from. I used white, brown, and mixed a little brown into the yellow. You’ll also need black for the details.

Using the white chocolate, dip the end of the sucker stick and place it into your cake balls and put them in your stand/foam block.

Next, pair up your candy corn and use some of the white chocolate to “glue” them onto the sides of the cake pop. These will be ears so make sure the small tip is up towards the top of the cake ball.

After the chocolate for the candy corn ears has set it’s time to dip. Dip your pops into the color of your choice, tap excess chocolate off, and place into stand to let dry.

Now the fun part, take your puppy pop and dip him half way into another color chocolate, or maybe only one of his ears, or better yet take that tooth pick and give him spots. Let dry.

Take your mini M&Ms and eat all the colors except the brown ones (optional). Dab a small amount of chocolate in the center of your puppy pop and place the brown mini M&M nose on it. Let dry.

Get that black chocolate and tooth pick ready, because now it’s time to give these cute puppies a smile and eyes! Let dry.

  1. These are amazing! My dog obsessed kids would love these. The white and brown guy in the center reminds me of Bubble Puppy and would look awesome as part of a Bubble Guppies party table.
