Kellogg’s Rice Krispies is bringing back their popular Treats For Toys program for another year! You may remember my creations from last year like this race car.

Rice Krispies Treats For Toys - Creative Ways to Donate

I’m thrilled to be participating in this program for another year! Not familiar with the program? Basically you make a toy-shaped treat out of Rice Krispies, upload your creation on the www.RiceKrispies.ca website or share it through your social media channels using the #TreatsForToys hashtag and Kellogg’s then donates a toy to kids less fortunate this holiday season. The more Rice Krispie toy-shaped treats made, the more toys that Kellogg’s donates!

This is a great program for a family holiday project. Kids will love using their creativity to brainstorm toy-shaped treat ideas & it’s always fun to play with your food! This is a great idea for classrooms, holiday parties for kids or even as a fun challenge at your work holiday potluck. You’ll want extra candies available as they seem to mysteriously disappear while you’re working on your project.

We’ve already started on our creations this year. First up was this fun train made with Rice Krispies, marshmallows, gumdrops and pretzels.

The holidays are a time when a lot of people are looking to give donations as a family & this is a really fun project that the entire family can work on together.

Need help brainstorming ideas? Check out the Treats For Toys page to see their toy-shaped treat ideas plus creations from other families. I love seeing what everyone else has come up with!

After you’ve made your creations and shared your photos, those toy-shaped treats could be shared with friends & family. Maybe one could even be the centerpiece for your holiday dessert buffet table!
