1) What is A Little Pixel?

A Little Pixel is a Party Printables shop that designs and sells fun party invitations and matching decor for fabulous themed parties. All my designs in the shop are for birthday parties, but I have custom designed items for weddings, anniversaries, baby showers and bridal showers.

I also have a variety of free printables that are available to download from the website.

2) What has been your favourite party to design and why is it your favourite?

Oh that’s a tough one because there are a few that I really like. But if I really must choose I will pick the Monkey Girl Theme which is one of my latest designs. It’s fun, bright and pretty leaving you lots of room for creative party decor.

3) For common character-themed parties, what tips do you have for making the party unique from the rest?

Make it about the guests! Kids love to dress up. Having something for them to wear and blend in with the characters in your theme is super fun! Having an Angelina Ballerina themed party? The girls can have their own tutus. Having a Handy Manny birthday party? Have yellow construction hats or red/white baseball caps for the boys to wear during their activities.  Make it something they can also take home with them after the party is done to enjoy at home.

4) What are some of the most unique ways that you’ve seen your customers use your party supplies?

The 2” Party Circles are a pretty versatile decor piece. Instead of as cupcake topper, I’ve had customers use them for stickers, as favour tags and even once as mini garland. The picture below is from a custom designed baby shower, they used one of the 2” Party Circles on the momma’s belly, so sweet 🙂

5) What are a couple of your favourite ways to dress up an otherwise standard party supply?

I love tissue paper! If you are on a budget you can do so much with it. Make tassels and hang them up as a backdrop or smaller mini tassels and create lovely bunting like shown below. Make large pompoms and hang on the wall mixed in with other elements like paper lanterns.

Since my specialty is graphic design, I can also design items that will fit anything in your party setup like napkin rings and water bottle labels. When you have things coordinating with your theme, your party will look amazing!
