Get your BBQ ready, the 4th of July is fast approaching! Here are some fun ideas for 4th of July Activities for Kids.
We have to start by telling you about these FABULOUS free printables from Printabelle. She has all types of free printables for your 4th of July celebrations. Through the previous link you’ll find a sign, card, mini cards, treat toppers, water bottle labels, banners, mini candy bar wrappers, stationery (which would make a great invitation to your BBQ), bookmarks and more!
I used the cupcake toppers both on the cupcakes and as labels on white plastic cups. The water bottle labels would also be great to go around your plastic cups.
Your kids can help glue on the water bottle labels, wrap the mini chocolate bars and create red, white and blue candy kabobs. You’ll find plenty of red, white and blue gummy candies at your local bulk store.
The treat bag toppers are perfect for creating party favors. Fill a sandwich bag with chocolate covered cherries, blueberries and yogurt covered raisins for a delicious treat bag to give to your guests. Your kids will have a lot of fun helping you decorate cupcakes and tape toothpicks to the back of the cupcake toppers. You can even glue two together, back to back, to create a 2-sided cupcake topper.
For a special treat that is sure to impress the guests, try this delicious cream puff cake and top it with strawberries and blueberries.
Have your kids create posters for your party using this free printable coloring page from Printabelle. You can add in glitter for a special added touch. A fun idea would be to laminate the colored pages and use them as placemats at the party.
