With my three-year-old son, we seem to be on some type of adventure every day. Whether we’re trying out a new playground in the city or we’re building a mini auto show in our own living room, we always have picture-worthy moments to capture. My phone is always with me for these special moments so that I can share them with friends and family and remember them for years to come. My son loves sitting with me to look through the pictures in my camera but I’m always afraid that the images will be deleted accidentally and I’ll lose all of these priceless images. There are so many creative ways to print images now, like photo books, canvas prints, mugs, calendars and more, so I’ve started creating unique photo gifts both for my parents and for myself through BLACKS.ca. I found their website really easy to use and I loved all of the options for layouts and designs. The Photobooks would be a great way to print those special memories without having to organize hundreds of printed photos into an album.
Some Of Our Special Everyday Moments:
My son loves going to the park to see all the geese but we’re still working on the “no chasing” rule. Instead of saying “goose” he says “goom” and it’s adorable! We recently took Nana and Papa to the park with us so they could see just how exciting these visits are for my son.
We recently discovered that my son has a love for tennis. Of course, at three years old, he doesn’t understand the game but he has his own fun version that’s kind of like tennis, baseball and golf all in one. Who knows, this could be the first tennis picture ahead of a huge tennis career for him!
Our little guy loves playing bubbles with Papa. I’m so thankful that my son has a close relationship with my parents and I love capturing pictures of their time together.
Born to be wild! I hope this is as “wild” as it gets when we approach the teen years. (Gulp.)
One thing our son never gets bored of is playing at the park. Swinging with Nana is so much better than swinging alone!
This is one of our favourite pictures so we turned it into a Magic Mug for my mom. The Magic Mug looks black until you pour hot liquid into it and then the picture you chose to print on it appears. It’s really cool and a great gift.
I have a special toddler bike seat at the front of my bike and both my son and I love it. We try to go for bike rides almost every afternoon and we wave at the neighbours, try to find rabbits hopping through the park and enjoy the fresh air. I’m already sad knowing that this is the last summer that he’ll fit into this special seat.
We’ve been working on balance on the bike but our son prefers to walk and push the bike. I think it will be a while before he’s ready to race down the sidewalk.
These summer memories were perfect for our Photobook.
On cold and rainy days, we go to our local arcade to play games. Our son is getting pretty good at some of them!
It was last year on a trip to Disneyland that we discovered that our son is a total beach bum. I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned into a little surfer some day!
With so many special everyday moments like these, I think I see a lot of Photobooks in my future! Perhaps a memory book for me and a brag book for Nana…because a face this cute deserves to be showcased.
