Brunch Scone Recipes

Back in the day when I worked in an office downtown, there was a little cafe that served scones on Tuesdays. I was always so excited for “scone day” that I may have set at reminder in my office calendar each week. If you were one of the first people there in the morning, you’d get one of the freshest scones right out of the oven with just the perfect amount of glaze on top. Drooling yet? I don’t work downtown anymore and I have no desire to drive all the way there for a scone so I’ve gathered a collection of scone recipes that I could try making at home.

For an extra kick of flavor, these Chipotle Cheddar Scones by Taste and Tell look delicious. I’d pair these ones up with a warm bowl of chili. 

I think my husband would choose these Cheddar Bacon Scones by Jen’s Favorite Cookies as the first ones he’d want to try. He’s addicted to anything with “bacon” in the title.

These Easy Strawberry Scones by Sandy Toes & Popsicles look too delicious to be an easy recipe. These look the closest to the scones I was addicted to at that cafe. 

Everything is better with chocolate, right? These Triple Chocolate Scones by Inside BruCrew Life would make a delicious afternoon coffee break treat.
