15 Medicine Cabinet Essentials

A couple of months ago, my son woke up crying with a fever so I went to my medicine cabinet to get the thermometer only to discover that both of my thermometers were no longer working. This is when “update the medicine cabinet” went onto my to-do list. When is the last time you looked through your medicine cabinet to check that everything is working, to dispose of expired products, and to restock some items you may be missing? This list of 15 medicine cabinet essentials is a good place to start but your list may differ slightly based on your family’s health concerns. For example, antihistamines would be on my list due to allergies but if your family doesn’t suffer from allergies, this may not be something you need to stock in your medicine cabinet. You can download this checklist as a free printable.

  1. Come the winter months; I never seem to have enough stuff for colds and the flu in my medicine cabinet. Even once I’m all stocked up, with the number of people in my home, it never lasts long.

  2. I never have enough medicine for my family and when one of us gets sick we all get sick and it seems to last forever or we get better then get sick right after and the while process starts again. This would be a lifesaver to win. Thanks for the chance

  3. We wash our hands, take vitamins and try to drink more water ! But with kids at school and us adults always coming in contact with someone that is sick, we end up catching flu

  4. My family washes their hands, cover our mouths when we sneeze.
Would love to snag this amazing swag basket. tweeted too. Thanks,
    for the tips also.

  5. I try to encourage anyone I can to wash, wash wash!!! It is so important, also good sllep and nutrition are keys to fighting the spread of germs,, but kids are kids and don’t Listen especially to Mom!!!
