This post is courtesy of our contributor Krista…Calling all princesses and queens that love to be pampered (isn’t that all of us?!) – Feel Fabulous Mobile Spa comes to you for spa treatments right in the comfort of your own living room. Although their services can be modified for both children and adults, we chose to have a fun afternoon planned for two very lucky young ladies aged 8 and 16. For our afternoon with them, the room was transformed into a full luxury spa complete with colourful fun throws, pillows, nail & hair stations, an amazing goodie bag buffet and of course the latest teen magazines. Along with the spa comes your very own Esthetician. We were fortunate and thankful to have both Jennifer and Karen that soaked, buffed, lacquered and pampered our little people!
Planning activities for teens and tweens can be a challenge because of the different ages and interests. My friend’s daughters were over the moon excited about the spa! The spa was an instant hit with both girls who got to choose all their personal favourite spa treatments down to unique nail designs. The Feel Fabulous Mobile Spa menu is endless with spa party packages ranging from mom & daughter spa options, larger spa birthday party packages and even baby showers. What mommy-to-be wouldn’t love to have her toenails painted, since you know she can’t reach them on her own! {wink}
Our two lucky young ladies, being the princesses that they are, were treated to the Royal Treatment package complete with plush pink robes. The treatment started off with an organic strawberry glow-girl facial that smelled so delectable (the girls were salivating) and finished with a relaxing warm towel facial massage.
Next the girls headed to the nail bar which included endless options of nail colors, ice cream scented lotions and heavenly ice cream mini bath bombs to soak their little paws in. Both girls received ice cream mini-manicures and pedicures with designer nail polish colors, nail art and the hottest trend – a “show” nail (different colour on the ring finger).
The room smelled like a bake shop! My personal favourite was the Choco-holic Body Icing body cream.
The spa treatment wrapped up with the 16 year old getting some makeup applied and her hair styled.
The eight year old opted for a glitter tattoo, age-appropriate light glitter makeup and an adorable hair style. The girls were beaming & it looked like they were going out for a fancy evening!
After all the pampering was complete, the girls headed over to the goodie bag buffet where they were able to choose sweets treats, adorable beauty items and hair accessories. The younger guests have tiaras, feather boas and a princess wand craft to choose from as well. For the more adventurous blooming beauty experts, the spa has beauty kits where girls can make their own unique beauty products like sugar scrub sundaes, rainbow lotion and perfume rollers sticks…just to name a few.
The spa evening left the ladies feeling fabulous! It’s not every day that they get pampered. In fact, the 16 year old liked it so much that she’s booked her birthday party with them so her friends can be pampered princesses for an afternoon as well. Thank you to Feel Fabulous Mobile Spa for an evening that I’m sure the girls will never forget!
