After seeing all the fun the girls had with their Feel Fabulous Mobile Spa experience, we were inspired to create a spa-themed Valentine’s Day Party that you can plan at home! Alyssa of Just A Little Sparkle created some free Valentine party printables that she’s happy to share with all of you – click here to print your freebies. If you live in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver, you can include a luxurious afternoon with Feel Fabulous Mobile Spa in your party plan as well!

Valentine Spa Party – Invitations:

I love these printable spa party invitations! Simply print and fill in with your party details. Your party could be a relaxed afternoon event, a Sunday brunch or even a weekend slumber party. There are so many fun possibilities when planning your event!

Valentine Spa Party – Decorations:

Your decorations don’t have to be expensive to be fabulous. For our party table backdrop, I simply used white striped wrapping paper secured with painter’s tape on the back. The glittery red tablecloth isn’t really a tablecloth at all – it’s simply a long piece of fabric from the local fabric store.

Adding height to your party table is easy when you use candlesticks as bases for cake stands. Just be careful that they aren’t too wobbly or one slight bump to the table could cause your delicious treats to land on the floor!

Now is actually a great time to shop for sparkly red decorations because all of the Christmas decorations are being cleared out from the stores. Many of the Christmas decorations (like the sparkly candles featured here) are also perfect for Valentine’s Day.

For the wreath on the wall, I wrapped pink yarn from the dollar store around it and secured a few red roses that I made out of crepe paper. The “XOXO” in the middle of the wreath was from the dollar section of Target. Trust me…if I can make this then anyone can!

Valentine Spa Party – Menu:

What does every Valentine’s party need? Chocolate. Lots of chocolate. I was recently introduced to sixlets – candy coated chocolate – and I am in love! A decorative candy vase filled with these along with little pink portion cups is a delicious treat for the guests. They also look fabulous in a clear plastic tube as party favors.

I was trying to bring out my crafty side in the party by creating arrow gummies. They are so easy to create! Simply glue some feathers to the dull end of a kabob stick and then place one heart-shaped gummy on the sharp end as the arrow head. It’s a small but unique treat! Such a simple craft that even the kids can help with this one.

I love cake pops on a party table but for this party I did something a little different, I used kabob sticks to make some Valentine’s Day candy kabobs and I topped them with printable circles.

The fabulous Iced…Bake Shoppe made us some incredibly adorable and delicious spa-themed cookies. Leah is a cookie genius! Yes, they ship throughout Canada and the US.

Instead of mini cupcakes, I chose mini chocolate chip cookies served in mini cupcake liners.

A Valentine’s Day party would be complete without pink and red treats so we also included some macarons and white chocolate truffles from a local bakery.

I found these adorable lipstick kissed plastic wine glasses at Target in the dollar section. These are perfect for pink lemonade or sparkling berry juice. You could even toss in some fresh raspberries for a pretty added touch. The coasters here are simply heart-shaped foam pieces – another treasure in the dollar section!

Valentine Spa Party – Activities:

In between all of the relaxing spa treatments, guests could be given pens and valentines to write out for fellow party guests. The completed cards could be placed in a mini mailbox and handed out to guests at the end of the party along with their goody bags.

While guests enjoy spa treatments, they could also read magazines and complete some of the silly quizzes as a group.

Valentine Spa Party – Favors:

Ice cream scented lotions and sugary body scrubs could be given to guests as favors after the party. You can add in some other items that fit with your party like sleep masks if it was a slumber party, “mommy’s relaxation kit” with a candle and scented lotion for your busy mommy friends, etc.
