This Christmas Dress Up Game is a silly game perfect for kids and adults of all ages. This one is sure to create a lot of laughter and it’s one that you’ll want to have your camera ready for.
Basically, you’ll have a list of Christmas-related items that you’ll have to dress up a team member to resemble. For example, if you choose a “snowman” you could wrap your teammate in toilet paper and tape on some eyes & buttons cut out of black construction paper. I’ll provide a free printable list of dress up ideas below.
Christmas Dress Up Game Supplies:
For this Christmas Dress Up Game, you’ll need to set out some supplies in a separate room. These are the supplies that teams will use in order to create their Christmas-related character. Some great ideas for props are:
- various colours of tissue paper
- various colours of streamer paper
- balloons
- strong tape
- pipe cleaners
- construction paper
- scissors
- head band
- empty rolls from paper towels or wrapping paper
- string
- old wire hangers
Christmas Dress Up Game – Instructions:
We now have two free printable versions of this game (same game – just two different looks:
- original Christmas Dress Up Game
- revised Christmas Dress Up Game
You’ll want to split your party into 2 separate teams. Each team should have at least 3 players. Team A chooses 1 person as the “model” and at least 1 person as the “creator” (you can have more than 1 “creator” if you have large teams). Team A’s “creator” randomly draws one sheet of paper from the bucket of dress up options.
Team A’s “model” and “creator” go into the separate dressing room and have 2 minutes to dress up the “model” to resemble the Christmas-related item they chose (for example, a snowman). They can use any of the props found in the dress up room.
When 2 minutes has passed, the team must come back into the playing area and their team gets 1 minute to guess what the “model” is dressed up as. Neither the model or the creator can talk or act out what the “model” is supposed to be. The model can hold a pose, just not act out the item like they would in a game of charades.
If Team A gets it right, Team A wins one point. If Team A doesn’t guess correctly within one minute, Team B gets one chance at guessing the correct answer. If Team B guesses correctly, Team B gets one point.
