When it comes to packing for a vacation, I’m all about making a packing list. I’m pretty sure this obsession for writing out a packing list started when I was a child. My family used to go camping almost every weekend during the summer months. We had a motorhome so my brother and I would play in the motorhome while my parents packed for our trip. I clearly remember the moment (a couple of hours into our trip) when I realized I forgot to wear shoes. So there we were camping for a week or longer and I had to wear some old rubber boots that I found in the camper. I’m sure I didn’t look too cool walking around the campground with shorts, a t-shirt and tall rubber boots. One would think that I had learned my lesson after the first time but I didn’t. In fact, there were a few camping trips where I had to wear rubber boots to the beach. I’m sure this is where my obsession with packing lists started…so you really have my mom to thank for this free printable camping packing list.
