Calendar crafts for kids are a fun way for kids to learn about the months of the year & counting.  For this easy calendar craft, print this free calendar template.  You could start with just one month (create a new one each month) or print out 12 and start on the full year.

Have your children label each page with a month of the year (you can use stickers or stamps for this).  Then have the children number the days for each month.  This is a great way to teach your children about how many days are in each month.

30 days hath September, April, June and November;

All the rest have 31;

Except for February which has 28;

But once in 4, February then has one day more!

Once your calendar pages are created, use stickers to make notes of special days like birthdays, birthday parties, school events, events around town that you want to attend, anniversaries, popular holidays and even some odd ones you want to celebrate (for a listing of many fun holidays you may not have heard of, visit Brownielocks and the Three Bears). Now your child will have a fun homemade calendar that can remind them of all the special occasions and events coming up.
