My son isn’t a big candy fan but he loves Skittles. Well, he loves the yellow Skittles. Yes, that’s right…he eats all the yellow Skittles then he’s done with the bag. Works for me though because then I get to eat the rest! Wouldn’t want them going to waste, right? Skittles are great for a St. Patrick’s Day treat – all the colors, not just the yellows. Ha! These Taste The Rainbow treat cups are any easy and cute idea for a classroom party or a special treat for the kids. Yes, we have the free printables to help you get started too!

Taste The Rainbow Treat Cups:

These are super easy to create! What you’ll need:

  • clear plastic cups
  • gold coins, gold tissue paper, or gold covered chocolates
  • Skittles
  • mini marshmallows
  • double-sided tape
  • free Taste The Rainbow printable

With each treat cup, you’ll simply layer the pieces with gold on the bottom, then Skittles, then mini marshmallows. You’ll then use double-sided tape to attach the circle Taste The Rainbow labels.

If you’re making these in advance, you’ll want to cover each cup with plastic wrap so that the mini marshmallows don’t dry out.

Super simple, right? Your kids would have fun helping you make these for a classroom party. Just make sure you have a few extra candies for snacking. I *may* have eaten a few Skittles during the construction phase. {wink}
