Reorganizing Our Pantry

December 19, 2014 By Cheryl

I think we all have one – the cupboard filled with food storage containers that seems to cause a mini avalanche each time you open the door. Do you always have more lids than containers? I swear they are hiding somewhere with all those missing socks. We use food storage containers a lot around here so I was happy to receive the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids 24-piece set to replace some of the worn out containers in our pantry.

Just how messy was the pantry? Here’s a before picture with an organized after shot.

Much better after, right? Can you believe that the “after” picture actually has more containers than the before shot? With the easy lid system, it’s easy to stack them so you can quickly find a lid for the container you need.

Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids:

There are many ways to simplify your food storage collection with Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids. First of all, the lids can snap right onto the bottom of the containers so you never have to search again for those missing lids.

Second, the lids all snap together so you can securely stack them and avoid those mini avalanches from overloaded cupboards.

The containers are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. We’ve been using them for a few weeks now and we haven’t had any troubles with stuck-on food or stains.

This 24-piece set has sizes for all of my food storage needs: small containers for toddler on-the-go snacks, tiny containers for salad dressing, large containers for Christmas baking, and medium containers for packing my husband’s lunch.

Ready to clean out your cupboard? This affordable solution will certainly save you time while cleaning up tonight’s leftovers and packing those school lunches quickly before the bus arrives. Right now I have a few packed full of Christmas baking that I’m not sure will actually last until Christmas…and now I’m off to eat another cookie. {wink}
