Supplies for Pipe Cleaner Creatures:
To create your own fun pipe cleaner creatures, you’ll need supplies such as:
- glue
- googly eyes
- pipe cleaners in a variety of colors
- pom poms in a variety of colors and sizes
- scissors
- ribbon
- your imagination!
It’s a great creative exercise for your little ones to develop their own little pipe cleaner creatures. You may even want to give them a challenge such as critters associated with an upcoming holiday, cartoon characters, zoo animals, insects, etc.
After they’ve created these fun pipe cleaner creatures, set them aside to dry for a while. Once they are completely dry, they can be used to create a fun finger puppet Puppet Show!
Another fun idea for the kids to take their little finger puppets out to the park and have mom or dad take some funny pictures of the finger puppets enjoying the park, going down the slide, making sand castles and climbing the monkey bars.
