Hamburger Cake Pops – What You’ll Need:
Here’s what you’ll need for this tasty project:
- Undipped cake pop balls
- Sucker Sticks
- Toothpick
- White nonpareils
- Tan melted chocolate (I used white and added a few chocolate)
- Red melted chocolate
- Yellow melted chocolate
- Green melted chocolate
- Brown melted chocolate
- Cake pop stand or styrofoam block
Hamburger Cake Pops Tutorial:
First, dip the end of your sucker stick into the tan chocolate and place it into the cake ball. Once that hardens, dip the entire cake pop into the tan chocolate, tap off excess, and place into cake pop stand or styrofoam block.
Before the chocolate sets completely, sprinkle your white nonpareils over the very top of the cake pop. These will be the sesame seeds on the top bun. Let dry.
Take your toothpick and dip it into your brown chocolate. Smear it in a thick line a little below center on your cake pop. This will be the burger. Burgers aren’t smooth, so don’t worry if you’re a bit sloppy.
Do the same with the red, yellow, and green. Red and yellow should be thin, and the green can be a bit thicker as it’s “lettuce”. Texture the green with your toothpick for a more realistic lettuce look.
Voila – you have just created hamburger cake pops!
