This peach “pumpkin” tart is a delicious Halloween treat for kids. They are easy to make and fun to eat! These would make a delicious addition to your Halloween party table or as an after-school snack. The filling can be made ahead of time so that your kids help help to make their own tarts.

Halloween Treat for Kids

Halloween Treat for Kids:

Just a few simple steps before you can enjoy these delicious peach “pumpkin” tarts.

Step 1: Start with frozen tart shells baked in the oven. Follow the directions on the package, but it’s typically in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes.

Step 2: Remove the tart shells from the oven and let them cool.

Step 3: While they are cooling, make this delicious tart filling recipe. You could also do this step ahead of time or even the night before and then just let it sit in the fridge (covered) overnight.

Step 4: Once the shells have cooled, fill the bottom of the tart with the tart filling (about a tablespoon).

Step 5: Place a green licorice piece in the tart shell so it’s slightly sticking up above the edge of the tart. This will be your pumpkin stem!

Step 6: Top with sliced peaches (canned or fresh).

That’s it! A cute, delicious and easy Halloween treat for kids. Enjoy!
