This Frankenstein Cake Pops tutorial is courtesy of our contributor Deanna of Dee’s-licious Desserts…It’s almost Halloween! This is one holiday that my son and I get so excited about so when it comes to cake pops for Halloween I like to do something extra fun. This year is Frankenstein!
Frankenstein Cake Pops – What You’ll Need:
- cake pop dough, squared
- cake pop sticks
- green chocolate
- white chocolate
- black chocolate
- black modeling chocolate (found at local cake supply store)
- M&M candies
- rolling pin
- knife
Go through your candies and pair them up. I used orange.
Dip your squared cake pop into green chocolate. This doesn’t have to be perfect because, well, you’re creating Frankenstein.
While the chocolate is still wet place M&M candies on the side.
Kneed your modeling chocolate for a few minutes in your hands until it warms up just enough for you to roll out with a rolling pin. Using your knife, cut out frankensteins hair. I made it extra big because you can easily give him a trim after applying it.
After the chocolate has set, place Frankensteins hair on his head. Secure using melted chocolate.
Give his hair a trim.
Once his hair is looking good, go ahead and add his eyes and mouth, but don’t forget the brow!
It’s alivveeeee!
