My mom had a dishwasher for years that didn’t wash dishes at all. I don’t mean it didn’t wash dishes well – I mean that it didn’t even turn on. For some reason she kept it and used it as a dish drying rack for years until my dad, being the romantic that he is, purchased her a new dishwasher for their last anniversary. I honestly don’t know how I’d manage without a dishwasher! We go through a lot of dishes everyday with a toddler that loves snacking and all of the party food I prepare for blog posts on Moms & Munchkins. How many of you rinse your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher? I admit that I’m a little lazy with this and it shows when my dishes come out of the dishwasher covered in baked on food particles. I then have to scratch off those food particles and put the dishes back into the dishwasher. As the popular catchphrase goes…ain’t nobody got time for that!
Finish Dishwasher Cleaner:
You would never wash dishes in a dirty sink, right? The same goes for a dishwasher. Did you know that little food particles, grease and lime scale build up can get stuck in your dishwasher and cause your dishes to come out of the wash still spotted and dirty? Finish Dishwasher Cleaner intensively cleans hard to see places in your dishwasher resulting in cleaner dishes. Need proof? Check out this “Before” picture of one of our glasses with crusty baked on food on it. Gross, right?
Then check out the “After” picture of the sparkling clean glass. Wouldn’t you love for your dishes to come out of the dishwasher sparkling like this every time?
Finish Dishwasher Cleaner is easy to use. Simply remove the sticker on the cap and place it upside down on the lower rack of the dishwasher for an empty cycle (don’t have dishes in the dishwasher with this product so that it has room to do its job). For best results, use the product once a month.
Another of my dishwasher pet peeves is having to dry the dishes when they come out of the dishwasher. When the dishwasher cycle is done, I want to see sparkling clean and dry dishes ready to be put away. Did you know that with detergents alone, food and chemical residues can redeposit on dishware during the rinse cycle? Finish Jet-Dry helps to rinse away leftover food and detergent for sparkling & dry dishes that are ready to be put away when the dishwasher cycle ends. Simply fill your rinse agent dispenser with Finish Jet-Dry and it will be automatically released in the rinse cycle every time your dishwasher runs.

You just reminded me that I need to pick up another refill of the rinse agent. That really does make a huge difference. I should just pick up that cleaner too. Thanks!
shows you what I know I assumed that the dishwasher got cleaned when you cleaned the dishes! Wow! Thank you for sharing this!
We actually clean our dishwasher often due to the very hard water we have here. Sometimes I feel my dishwasher is more of a hassle than its worth haha! I have not tried Finish products but they sound better priced than my current brand I use so I will have to check these out! Thanks for the tip!
You know I glad I seen this post, I so need to do this soon. I have noticed my dishes not being as clean as they were since the last time I cleaned my dishwasher. Thanks for the tip!
I don’t have a dishwasher, but if I did I would never think to clean it. I would assume it cleaned as it did dished since there was soap in it then! That is wrong I see now!
I just picked up some of the machine cleaner and am going to use it right away!
