I started my Christmas shopping early this year because I wanted to make sure I found exactly what I needed before the toys sold-out and I wanted to avoid the last minute rush at the toy store. It’s difficult to pick what to buy when there are so many great options out there! Are you looking for suggestions too? Then you’re going to love the Mattel Holiday Toys site. They have suggestions for children of all ages (from baby and up) so you’re sure to find great ideas for all the kids on your Christmas shopping list this year.

Mattel Holiday Toys

Mattel Holiday Toys:

Not only does it tell you what the hottest toys of the season are, but it provides links to several different places that sell these toys so you can easily see which stores have them in stock and where you’ll find them for the best price. This certainly beats driving around the city in search of the best deal!

My son would be so excited to receive the Fisher-Price Imaginext Supernova Battle Rover. This toy looks like it would keep him entertained for a long time!

I know that there are quite a few girls with the Barbie Dreamhouse on their Christmas list this year. With kid-activated lights and sounds, two elevators and the ultimate closet, I feel the need to renovate my own home! I hope my husband likes pink.

I was at the toy store a couple of weeks ago and the Frozen dolls were flying off the shelf so it’s no surprise that the Disney Frozen Ice Skating Dolls made their way onto the Mattel Holiday Toy list.

Which of the toys on the Mattel Holiday Toys list will your kids be including on their wish lists this year?

Hot Wheels Toys:

We had the opportunity to test out a couple of the hottest Hot Wheel track sets and my son couldn’t have been more excited about it. He’d tell you about himself but he’s still busy dancing with excitement. Check out his adorable dance on Instagram!

The Hot Wheels Super Loop Chase Race is unlike any other toy in his collection. It’s an incredibly fast battery-operated race track the zips and zooms faster than the eye can see! There are brackets that you easily install on the wall to hold this toy in place. Those brackets come with adhesive strips that are designed not to damage your wall. I had to reposition one during my install and it came off easily yet it’s still strong enough to hold the toy in place.

My son (3 years old) is a bit younger than the recommended age for this toy but he absolutely loves it. He has already figured out the tricks to get the cars to switch tracks while racing. I’ve heard from a few other parents who have this toy and they all say the same thing – after months of play, their kids still can’t get enough of this toy.

We also tested out the HW City Flame Fighters track set. With two water pools for the cars to cool down in, it’s a toy that’s sure to impress. If your child is like mine, he probably has a few Hot Wheels cars already that change color when wet. This toy is perfect for those cars!

The cars race down the tracks and trigger actions on other areas of the toy set. For example, launching one car sends a second car racing down the track and that car then triggers another car to launch out of the cool down pool. There’s lots going on with this toy and it’s a lot of fun to play with.

Barbie Toys:

We were also sent two Barbie toys to donate to a lucky child this holiday season. My son has been begging me to open the Barbie Glam Camper because he wants to play with it. I’m trying to teach him about giving to others but he’s having a hard time understanding when these two cool toys are sitting in front of him!

When I was a child, I loved playing with Barbies. I played with Barbies almost every day until I was about 13 years old. For the Barbie fans on your Christmas list, the 2014 Holiday Barbie is a must! I must admit that I’m a little jealous – I’ve never looked this glamorous at my holiday parties!

When the Barbie Glam Camper arrived, I couldn’t believe the size of it. This is a huge toy! There is room for Barbie and all of her friends. I wish they made one in my size too – I mean, who wouldn’t want a detachable cab that converts to a pool! This toy brings back treasured memories of playing with my old Barbie convertible and soda shoppe sets.
