Sometimes we as mommas just need a little break and not to be the entertainment for our kids. I found some of the best toddler toys that promote imagination and keep them occupied for longer than 5 minutes.
We would love to hear from you, if you have recommendations on toys your kids love, please leave them in the comments. Also, in case you missed it, I recently did an entire post on toddler beds with some great choices.

5 Toddler Toys
Water Doodle Mat
If your kids love drawing like mine, but you don’t want to worry that you will end up with markers on a wall or chairs, this is a perfect toy for your kids.
Additionally, there is some magic in it so that the markers will only write on the pad. You can place it in the living room or bedroom, or even outside on some concrete. The perfect toddler toys with versatility.
Even older kids love this mat because as long as they have markers, they can draw anything they want. Highly recommend this mat for your kids or grandkids.
Magnetic Tiles Building Blocks
These blocks just scream imagination and are the perfect toddler toys. What would your kids make with these blocks? This kit comes with 52 magnetic blocks and a simple castle design to get them started.
These magnetic tiles make the perfect toddler toys as they are fun and educational.
Additionally, if you need more blocks, simply buy more and your kids can make buildings, castles or skyscrapers. They are the perfect STEM product for ages 3 and up.
Furthermore, I love that the edges aren’t sharp or small so no risk of anyone getting cut or someone swallowing a piece.
Finally, keep this handy so when you hear the dreaded words “I’m bored” you have these blocks to keep them entertained while lighting your imagination.
You never know, you might have an architect or custom home builder in the future. It starts with creativity and imagination.
Bath Paint Sticks
Bath time, you either love it or hate it. Sometimes it feels like a wrestling match trying to get bodies cleaned and hair washed. I found the perfect solution. It has made bath time enjoyable.
Second, these bath paint sticks are so much fun. They are specifically made for tubs, tiles, and even glass products. These toddler toys are non-toxic and are the perfect size for small hands.
These fun sticks feature bright colors so your tub will look like a masterpiece when they are finished. A great tip is to take a picture of their masterpiece to save for their baby book or scrapbook.
Additionally, clean-up is a breeze. Simply wash off using a damp cloth or sponge. I do want to note if your bathtub is porous or your grout isn’t sealed, you will want to avoid this product. It’s great on everything else.
If you have other bath toys you love, please share those in the comments. We all learn from each other.

Splash Pad
With summer heat waves in so many areas of the country, we wanted to end with a water toy. This splash pad is the perfect summer activity when everyone is stir-crazy from being inside, but it is too hot to just sit or play outside.
Secondly, you can fill it with a little water and your kiddos can sit and enjoy the cool water, and you can add in some learning time by teaching them letters and numbers.
Furthermore, you can also add a slide, and it becomes a fun water slide during the hot summer months. It will provide endless summer entertainment.
Finally, it’s a splash pad with water shooting up. Can you hear the squeals as your kids run in and out of the water but are also learning their letters and numbers as they play?
I hope that you have found some really good options for toddler toys. No more hearing “I’m bored mom” but instead having some options that will entertain them for hours.
Take us down memory lane for a second. What are some toys that you played with as a child that you wished were still around?
