Sick days – we all have them. Some of us stay curled up in bed and sleep. Others set up a pillow & blanket fort and binge watch our favourite TV shows. Being sick isn’t fun but we have a cute idea for making those sick days a little easier to handle – Sick Day PJ Party!

The idea is simple – create a box for each of your children labeled “Sick Day PJ Party” (yes, we have free printables for that) and set them aside for the next sick day. These boxes could contain items such as:

• new pyjamas

• a Lego set to build
• nail polish & nail file
• DVD
• colouring books and crayons
• sticker books & stickers
• activity books like mazes, connect the dots, word searches
• puzzle
• iTunes gift cards to purchase new games for the iPad

You know what’s even more fun than a Sick Day PJ Party? Not getting sick at all! No one wants to miss out on classroom parties, dinners out with friends, play dates, and more. You can help prevent catching the flu by getting your flu shot each year.

Do you know that you can receive your flu vaccination from Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacies?
