This Pop Rocks Father’s Day idea is courtesy of our contributor Dawn. Father’s Day is creeping up fast and if you are looking for a punny idea to slip into his lunch, briefcase or desk, I have the sweetest idea for you. I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist!
I have always been obsessed with clear boxes unfortunately they are no longer available BUT you can order similar boxes here; I’ve used them for everything from craft storage to party displays and more!
I love the 2” square boxes and knew they were perfect for a special way to say ‘I love you’ to the special dad in your life. I designed these free My Pop Rocks labels to fit right on the lids. I look at them as adult lunchbox notes! Fill them with Pop Rocks or candy rocks. They are small enough to stash anywhere and the best part, you can use them all year round. After all, dad is still awesome the other 364 days of the year.
Pop Rocks Father’s Day Idea:
I used two .24 oz packages of Pop Rocks to fill up a 2” square box; your packaging may be different so you are looking at a ½ ounce of candy per box. You can find candy rocks in the bulk section of certain grocery stores or a local candy store.
Click the link below to download my free labels; print out on sticker paper (or cardstock), trim and adhere to the box’s lid (cardstock with double sided tape or dry adhesive).
I created the labels in different colors and black and white, so feel free to mix and match as you see fit!
