Remember when I shared some delicious & easy recipes using Smucker’s? Well, I’ve been asked to put together some more tasty pairings with a theme of Fall entertaining. When I think of Fall foods I think of apples, pumpkin and warm comfort foods. All of these recipes have five ingredients or less and take just 15 minutes to prepare.
Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Fondue:
Although it sounds like a fancy dessert, it’s actually incredibly easy. Simply melt some chocolate chips with some Smucker’s Strawberry Jam and serve it in a fondue pot. You can dip cake pieces, fruit or marshmallows. This pairing is perfect for your next ladies night!
Peachy Pumpkin Parfaits:
For this tasty dessert, simply cook 1 can pumpkin pie filling, 1 cup mini marshmallows and 2 tablespoons Smucker’s Peach Jam over medium-low heat (stirring constantly) until marshmallows have melted. Put some graham cracker crumbs in mini dessert cups, fill ¾ full with pumpkin mixture and then top with whipped cream when the pumpkin mixture has cooled. This pairing is perfect for your next dinner party.
Goat Cheese & Apple Pastry Puffs:
This pairing is perfect as an appetizer during the holiday season. Place Smucker’s Apple Jelly in the bottom of the baked pastry shells (bake them the night before for an easy appetizer), add a thick layer of goat cheese and top with sautéed mushrooms and green onions. Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes and serve warm.
Grape & Onion Meatballs on Cheese:
I only tasted one of these because my husband gobbled them all up before I had an opportunity to go back for seconds. In a frying pan over medium heat, sauté diced mushrooms and green onions with Smucker’s Grape Jelly over medium heat for about two minutes. In small appetizer cups, put a round piece of soft cheese, top with a cooked meatball and pour the grape jelly mixture on top. This is a great family recipe that the kids will love.
Marmalade Stir Fry:
My mom loves marmalade so I made this recipe for my parents over the weekend. Simply sauté cooked chicken with bell peppers, carrots and Smucker’s Marmalade over medium heat until the peppers have softened a bit. Serve over rice as your main meal.
Raspberry Vanilla French Toast:
Save this pairing for your next lazy Sunday morning brunch with your family. Prepare French toast as you normally would (I use thick slices of homemade bread dipped in an egg & milk mixture). In a medium bowl, stir vanilla pudding and raspberry jam until mixed well. Layer the raspberry vanilla mixture thick on top of a piece of cooked French toast, top with another piece and add whipped cream as the finishing touch.
