Jalapeno Cheddar Cheese Ball Recipe

To make this a little spicier, use a spicier tortilla chip to coat the cheese ball in. I used JalapeƱo Cheddar Doritos for this recipe.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ tablespoon dry taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons minced jalapeƱos (seeds and ribs removed)
  • ½ cup real bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup crushed cheese-flavored tortilla chips
  • Crackers, baguette, pretzel crips, etc. for spreading the cheese ball on.
  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients (except tortilla chips) and stir well until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Form mixture into a ball and wrap tightly in clinging food wrap.
  3. Let chill in fridge for two hours.
  4. Remove from fridge and food wrap, then roll cheese ball in crushed tortilla chips.
  5. Serve with crackers, baguette or pretzel chips.
  6. Store leftovers in a sealable food storage bag in the fridge.
