Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza Recipe
I prefer a softer cookie so I stick to 20-24 minutes of baking time. If you prefer a crispier cookie, add on a couple minutes of baking time.
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1½ cups candy-coated chocolates (like M&Ms)
  • Optional: jar of vanilla icing and sprinkles
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt and baking soda until well combined. Set this aside.
  4. In a large bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  5. Beat egg and vanilla into the butter mixture.
  6. Beat dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until well combined. This will be a crumbly mixture.
  7. Stir in all of the chocolate chips and 1 cup of the candy-coated chocolates (save the other ½ cup of candy-coated chocolates for now).
  8. Press cookie dough into the pizza pan evenly (right up to the edges of the pan).
  9. Press the remaining ½ cup of candy-coated chocolates into the top of the cookie.
  10. Bake for 20-24 minutes (less time baking means a softer cookie).
  11. Remove from oven and let cool completely before slicing (I use a pizza cutter for slicing this) and removing from pan.
  12. Optional: Decorate the outer edge of cookie with swirled vanilla icing and sprinkles.
