Caramel Apple Cheesecake Tarts
- 18 tart shells (cooked)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream (35%)
- 1 egg
- 1 can apple pie filling
- caramel sauce (the ice cream topping kind)
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add in sugar, salt & vanilla then beat just until smooth.
- Beat in heavy cream just until smooth.
- Add egg and beat just until combined.
- Place cooked tart shells on a cookie sheet.
- Pour cheesecake mixture evenly into each tart shell.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until center is set.
- Cool on wire rack completely then store in refrigerator until you're ready to serve them.
- Right before serving, top each cheesecake tart with apple pie filling and drizzle caramel sauce over each.
