Stud Muffins

This recipe makes 12 large muffins. They taste the best when served warm.
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2½ cups shredded cheese
  • ½ cup real bacon bits
  • ¼ cup green onions, diced
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together butter, egg, garlic and milk. Stir until mixed well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir to mix.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir well to mix.
  5. Stir in cheese, bacon and green onions. Stir just until mixed.
  6. Spray 12 muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray. Fill muffin tins and bake for 25-30 minutes.
