Sausage & Mushroom Quiche
  • 1 pre-baked pie shell
  • 4 eggs
  • 1-2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 mild Italian sausages, cooked & cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • ½ cup sliced green onion
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Sprinkle cooked sausages, ¾ cup of cheese, mushrooms, green pepper and onion on the bottom of the pie shell.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk salt and pepper until smooth.
  4. Carefully pour the egg mixture into the pie shell.
  5. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top.
  6. Bake 40-45 minutes or until the top turns a golden brown. Insert knife into the centre of the quiche and if it comes out clean it is done.
