Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

These bite-sized appetizers are really easy to make!
  • 36 fresh whole mushrooms
  • ¾ cup prepared herb stuffing mix (prepared as per directions on box)
  • ½ cup shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped white onion
  1. Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Clean mushrooms.
  3. Remove stems from mushrooms.
  4. Finely chop half of the stems; discard remaining stems.
  5. In small bowl, combine chopped mushroom stems, stuffing mix, cheese and onion; mix well.
  6. Spoon about 1 teaspoon mushroom mixture into each mushroom cap.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve warm.
