This free Thanksgiving leftover printables post is courtesy of our contributor Dawn…The perfect way to keep the warm, fuzzy feelings of Thanksgiving going, sending leftovers home with your guests! Set up a Thanksgiving leftovers area with containers and bags and let them stock up to their heart’s content. I created these fun and free chalkboard labels you can easily print out (link below) and attach to your favorite container. The download contains 2 ½” round labels and 2” x 3” labels.
Thanksgiving Leftover Printables:
I love Chinese takeout boxes and soup containers; they are perfect for leftovers and a blank canvas for easy decorating. You can find them at restaurant supply stores like Cash & Carry, although I found the quart sized takeout box in the candy section at Party City. For added fun, I swapped out the existing ribbon handle with striped ribbon.
If you can’t find paper products, head to your local Dollar Tree and peruse their plastic containers section for great selections; one can never have too many.
Yes, even lunch paper bags can be turned into sweet containers with a little bakers’ twine. These are perfect for not-so-pretty foil wrapped items or your famous rolls.
