I recently held my son’s first birthday party and we did an Under The Sea theme. We ordered the plates, napkins and return address labels from Big Dot of Happiness. The plates & napkins are brightly colored and so sturdy! We ordered enough return address labels to go along with the invitations and thank you cards. Unfortunately, I only found Big Dot of Happiness after I had already ordered his party invitations. If not, I would have loved to order their unique squiggle invitations with the 11 lines of personalization.

Now let’s talk a bit about baby showers, shall we? They have many fun themes for baby showers. They also offer many sets personalized for twins and triplets – how cute is that?! They have many unique games – the cutest games that I’ve seen. I don’t know where they come up with these great ideas! If you’ve been following Moms & Munchkins for a while, you may remember that I featured their Who Smells The Stinky Doo Scratch ‘N Sniff cards in a past giveaway.
I’m planning a baby shower for a friend and the Sweet Pea theme is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the squiggle plates, mini candy bar wrappers, napkins and I will be purchasing the squiggle personalized invitations once we have a date chosen. I really like the mini candy bar wrappers because they are stickers that you can easily place on mini chocolate bars. Yes, you read that right – no more messing around with the glue stick to try to get on candy bar wrappers! Now my only concern is trying not to eat the chocolate before the baby shower!

It was tough to choose just two games for the shower but I chose the Itty Bitty Baby Parts Game and the Dirty Diaper Game. Check out more of their fun baby shower game ideas here.

The Itty Bitty Baby Parts game is so clever! It consists of 12 different ultrasound pictures with a baby’s itty bitty part pointed out in each image and the players must guess what that part is on their playing card (25 playing cards included in every pack). It’s such a cute idea for a game! I remember going to ultrasounds for my son and being so excited to bring the pictures home…and then not being able to tell what I was looking at later once I got them home. Funny how you can’t really make out what most of the parts are in the pictures yet they are the cutest pictures you’ve ever seen.
The Dirty Diaper Game is a great party ice breaker and a great game for even the shy guests. As guests arrive to the party, give each guest a diaper pin to wear for the party. Don’t tell them why just yet! When you are ready to play the game, say “I smell something stinky? Does anyone else smell that? Can everyone please check their diaper?” the lucky winner is the one with the brown fake poo in their diaper. Cute, right?!
