About Cheryl Kirkness:
I love all things party and that’s exactly what you’ll find on my Moms & Munchkins website. I write & create delicious recipes, DIY party decorating ideas and more with my son’s imagination as inspiration. I live in Regina, SK (Canada) with my son (born 2011).
My background is in project management and I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I originally pursued project management as a career with the intention of becoming a party planner or event manager; however, once I finished my classes I was given an opportunity with an engineering company and I stayed in the oil and gas industry for 8+ years.
After the birth of my son, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom but that party planning side of me was still itching to get out. That’s when I started Moms & Munchkins & I’ve been dedicated to it since!
Moms & Munchkins continues to experience fast-paced growth in readership. I am so incredibly thankful for the Moms & Munchkins audience and for the positive feedback they provide. Moms & Munchkins is a community and comments are both welcomed and encouraged.
