Welcome to the 2012 Summer Solstice Giveaway Hop hosted by MamaNYC! Moms & Munchkins has teamed up with close to 100 bloggers to bring you some fantastic prizes to start your summer!
Each of the giveaways features a prize value minimum of $25.00. This event runs June 18 – 24 so you’ll have plenty of time to hop down the entire list (the list of all giveaways is included at the bottom of this post). We hope you’ll be able to find (and win!) some great summer prizes!
Moms & Munchkins has two great prizes to be awarded to one lucky winner!
First off we have a fabulous zebra with black trim cosmetics bag from Miss Lucy’s Monograms. One lucky winner will receive this personalized monogrammed cosmetics bag valued at $15. I received a monogrammed zebra cosmetics bag for review and I can honestly tell you that I love it! It came packaged nicely – you can see that they put a lot of care into every detail to make your purchasing experience a pleasant one.
It’s larger (9″ L x 6.5″ H x 4″ Deep) than I thought it would be which is perfect because I have a lot to store in it. It is a high quality product made of durable microfiber fabric. The inside is fully lined which will certainly come in handy when I spill powder in it – which I always seem to do to my makeup bags! There is also an inside zipper compartment which is perfect for storing makeup pads, cotton swabs or those small makeup items that often get buried at the bottom of a cosmetics bag or purse.
There are 17 different monogram styles to choose from – I chose the 3 Initials Modern. There are 21 monogram font styles to choose from – I chose Curlz (which is incredibly cute!). Then you chose from 21 thread colors – I chose Hot Pink. With the zebra design though, any color would look great on it! 
Miss Lucy’s Monograms has so many incredibly cute products on their site that are perfect for bridal party gifts, wedding gifts, birthdays and baby showers. Don’t forget about your men & your dogs! That’s right…they have a great line for men as well as personalized collars for your little pooch!
The second prize comes from Del Sol, a company with unique color changing products like nail polishes that change color in the sun. Del Sol is giving away 2 bottles of this fun color changing nail polish for this giveaway. How cool is that?! You know what else…it would fit perfectly into your new zebra cosmetics case!
I received 4 bottles of nail polish for review: Purple Haze, Peek a Boo, Starry Night and (my favorite) Pretty in Pink. All of the colors are really nice but I’d have to say that Pretty in Pink is my favorite. In the bottle, it looks like white shimmer shows a hint of pink when looked at in a certain direction. Out in the sun it turns a fun bright color – a perfect color for beachwear! It really is neat to see how much of a change in color there is when exposed to the sun. I think Starry Night is perfect for holiday parties and New Years. The polishes came wrapped in bubble wrap so they survived the long trip up here to Canada. I’m very impressed by the quality of the product and I know you will be too!
I also received some medicated lip moisturizer – which was greatly appreciated because I go through a lot of lip moisturizers! It’s the one beauty product that I can’t leave the house without. These lip moisturizers are SPF 15 which is great for protecting your lips out in the sun. You can feel the menthol healing your lips as soon as you apply it! These are a color changing product as well – the cap changes color in the sun.

This contest ends on June 24th (at 11:59 pm.). A winner will be drawn randomly on June 25th. The winner will be notified, by email, on June 25th and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. If I do not receive a response from the winner within 48 hours, another winner will be chosen randomly.
Once the winner claims the prize, his/her name will be posted on the Giveaways page. The lucky winner’s name & email address will be sent to Miss Lucy’s Monograms and Del Sol and they will each contact the lucky winner with instructions on how to redeem your fun prizes.
